After Monday’s Memorial Day extravaganza, Major League Baseball is back in action under the lights on Tuesday night with an overstuffed 10-game slate on DraftKings, which begins at 7:20 p.m. ET. Four of the 10 games are divisional matchups, and two are interleague matchups, including the Guardians taking on the Rockies at Coors Field in a game that is expected to be high-scoring.
As you set your lineup for Tuesday night, you might end up stretched a little thin on salary, but don’t worry. There are some great values to consider who save salary but still bring plenty of potential production.

SP Triston McKenzie, Cleveland Guardians at Colorado Rockies, $7,000
McKenzie is pitching at Coors Field, which makes him a high-risk play, but it also makes his salary $1,000 lower than in his last start. McKenzie had been rolling with two runs or fewer allowed in six straight starts before he allowed three runs against the Mets in his most recent appearance. On the season, the 26-year-old righty has a 3.44 ERA and 5.48 FIP. While his K/9 on the season has dropped to just 7.7, he has at least five strikeouts in seven straight starts with 40 strikeouts in 39 1⁄3 innings over that span. His arm didn’t seem quite right early in the year, but he has found his groove since then. He had over 17 DKFP in four straight starts before posting just 9.9 DKFP in that last start. He should be able to bounce back in this outing despite being at Coors Field. It helps that the game is at night when the Park Factor is a little less insane than during the day. While the Coors effect makes the matchup risky, the Rockies’ struggling offense balances that out to some degree since they have the fifth-highest K% in the MLB and rank in the bottom 10 in runs scored despite their homefield advantage. At only $7,000, McKenzie should be able to bring good value if he returns to form.
OF Jarred Kelenic, Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals, $3,000
With Ronald Acuna Jr. (knee) done for the season, Kelenic will have the opportunity to continue to step up for the Braves. Against righties, he could even move up in the batting order which would be a huge boost to his value. Kelenic was once a top prospect for the Mariners but never found his footing in Seattle. He got a chance for a change of scenery this offseason by being traded to the Braves. So far in Atlanta, the lefty has hit .267 in 40 games with three homers and a .304 wOBA. He started against a lefty on Monday and went 0-for-3 with a walk, but in his five previous games, he went 7-for-20 (.350) with a home run, a .423 wOBA and a 57.9% hard-hit rate. He has been hitting the ball well all season and will be on the strong side of his splits against Jake Irvin ($7,400), who has allowed lefties to post a .267 batting average with a .340 wOBA against him this season.
SS Ryan Bliss, Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros, $2,000
The Mariners called up Bliss on Monday, and he made his MLB debut on Monday night. He went 0-for-2 with a walk in his first taste of MLB action and should continue to get playing time at 2B while Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is on IL. He was acquired by the Mariners in the Paul Sewald trade from Arizona last July and has shown intriguing upside in the minors while playing for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. In 50 games in Triple-A, Bliss showed intriguing upside with a .247 average, seven homers and a .372 wOBA. He stole 28 bases in 34 attempts in the minors this season after swiping 55 bags in 128 games in Double-A and Triple-A last season. Bliss brings both power and speed potential, and getting him at the minimum salary is a great way to save salary cap space this Tuesday.
