My name is Richard Marks, MA and I've been a professional photographer for 33 years, including being a former Getty Images photographer.
Upon moving to Maui 23 years ago, I created my own photography company, MauiProfessionalPhotographer, and I am also currently the main photographer for the Maui Vision Magazine, having done over 37 front covers for that magazine in the past 10 years. I have also been chosen to be the main photographer for The Neighbors and Friends of Wailea and Makena Magazine.
Since moving here from The San Francisco Bay Area in 2001, I’ve photographed over 1000 Maui Weddings for Maui's finest wedding co-ordinators including White Orchid Weddings and Tropical Maui Weddings. Ive done Family Shoots for Time Magazine Person of the year Terry Cruz and his family as well as many professional promotional shoots including CD covers for Grammy recording artists.

I have also done various celebrity shoots with actors, authors, writers, artists comedians and musicians including former NFL football player and Time Person of The Year, Terry Crews and his family, (I've featured a few photos from my Terry Crews Family shoot on this ad), as well as actor and comedian, Whoopee Goldberg photo taken when I worked with her in 1982, musician Steven Tyler, CD covers and promotional photos for 2 time Grammy Award winner Peter Kater and world renowned author and spiritual teacher, Ram Dass, who was the officiant for the wedding of renowned Buddhist teacher Jack Kornfield and Trudy Goodman to name just a few. Ive also shot the covers for over 37 Maui Vision Magazines.
Since my arrival from the San Francisco Bay Area to Maui is 2001, I have photographed well over 1000 weddings, hundreds of family shoots and promotional shoots.
