This place was delicious! Sushi was fresh and our entrees tasted great. Hot sake carafe definitely worth a try. Our waiter was attentative and nice.

I’ve visited Tsuanmi many times over the years and it has always been a good restaurant in the Columbia area. Today I tried the Chefs chicken as well as having the Playboy roll. The Chefs chicken was alright but it was supposed to be deep fried so I was expecting crunchy/crispy chicken, but it wasn’t, it was still fine. The portion size on it was huge and very filling so I will put that as a plus. The sushi here is great and the playboy roll which is my go to roll, was great as usual. It’s a large enough roll to be filling for the average person. The restaurant is spacious and lively, the seating is plentiful and spread far enough apart to feel comfortable.

Every time we are in Columbia, we go to Tsunami. We always sit at the bar because our favorite bartender, Adam, is so helpful, quick to serve and provides hilarious banter. The sushi is always on point and having this gem in the Vista is the highlight of our trip. Thank you, Adam, for making us feel right at home!

Upon entering the white girl "Anna!" had a rather porky attitude 🐷😒. Unfortunately the atmosphere here has changed drastically. It gave Dark college cafeteria vibes. Very dull and depressing to say the least. Staff clearly did not want to be at work tonight. Hibachi was alright but salty AF. The sushi was obviously thrown together by one of the college kids😫🤦. I was Soo disappointed. I still payed and still tipped well. However, I won't be back.✌️

We had California Rolls and Eel Rolls. They were fresh and delicious. Hibachi steak and Scallops were also good. You get a lot of food for the price. I also had a Georgia Peach Martini it was delicious. We went during happy hour.
